The EUA promotes policies to enable future developments of a knowledge society in Europe, fostering partnerships in higher education and research. Through its membership, the Santander Group actively participates and contributes to EUA initiatives and training.

EPUF supports progress and enhancement of a EuroMed Area of Higher Education, through harmonisation and co-operation of education and training systems. The Santander Group is now member of the Executive Committee of EPUF.

The LEO-NET network brings 150 members from 32 European countries together in mobility and training programmes, especially in the framework of the EU Lifelong Learning Programme. The Santander Group is currently a member of the network and takes part to LEO-NET activities.

The WHEB strengthens the European capacity and relationships of all eleven higher education institutions in Wales (UK), including advising the Wales international Consortium , which promotes Wales as a study destination and partner internationally.

Forum of the Brazilian Association of International Relations Offices  

 

FAUBAI was founded in 1988 with the aim to promote integration of international relations co-ordinators at institutions of higher education in Brazil through the exchange of experience and common activities such as seminars, workshops, participation in national and international project.

  The SG is a partner of the Union of Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean UDUAL was created in 1949 and is an organisation representing  180 Universities in 21 countries. Their aim is to defend the autonomy of universities, to promote the exchange of knowledge through meetings of professionals, seminars and assemblies.
  The SG is a partner of the Colombian Association of Universities ASCUN is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that brings together the universities in Colombia. It is a body of representation and dialogue and is a space of integration and interaction of the academic community fostering the principles of academic quality, autonomy and social responsibility that are the founding values of Colombian universities.
              The SG is a partner of the University Association "Montevideo   Group"
  

 AUGM is a network of public higher education institutions from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. It was founded on the 9th of August 1991 and its objectives are to strengthen and consolidate human resources, scientific investigation and technology and promote the interaction between its members and society.
