The SGroup in collaboration with Rovira i Virgili University and the University of Rouen is organising a workshop in Tarragona on how to set-up Study Abroad programmes. The event will take place on 31 January 2014.

The workshop will provide critical aspects that host European institutions need to consider before building a Study Abroad Programme, from the perspective of two European universities belonging to the Santander Group: University of Rouen (France) and Rovira i Virgili University (Tarragona, Spain). Best-practices and standards on long and short term programmes will be shown. The afternoon will be devoted to a hands-on session in order to learn how to build a successful programme.

Participants will get to learn what a Study Abroad program is, identify the nature of Study Abroad programs that their institution can build according to their characteristics and how to adapt to the US students and faculty needs. They will be able to design their own management Study Abroad toolkit according to the best practices learnt in the session and learn about the best marketing and communication tools to be able to recruit the best international students.
