Did you know that 93% of undergraduates chose their University abroad based on their potential to improve their employability? And that 87% of them would expect better advice from their Universities when it comes to employability?
The word of Universities is undergoing a profound change as undergraduates expect always more and more orientation services as part of their studies. There is clearly a gap between the higher education and professional worlds. This is the reason why the SGroup Network endorsed an idea of the creation of the garagErasmus Foundation whose objective was to improve matchmaking of job offers in Europe with graduates’ profiles, in particular graduates with the Erasmus mobility experience.
Such tool is designed to empower career services by providing them a digital platform to gather and engage inbound and outbound mobility students. Also to gather and engage alumni in order to maximise their sense of belonging and strengthen relationships among this community; to develop a tracking system about the evolution of skills and employability of their graduates, among the other important functionalities.
Check-in Europe is the digital platform of garagErasmus to build the Professional network of the Erasmus Generation and connect talents with companies and investors. Students can register in the platform to promote their profiles to respond to job offers posted in the platform by the business partners.
